Jr. IT Support Engineer (m/f) - fulltime (40h)

Do you have experience as an IT Support Engineer and are you ready for a new challenge? Do you like to have variety in your work and are you motivated to provide the best possible support? Then this could be the next step in your career. Together with one other IT Support Engineer and the Team leader IT Benelux, you are responsible for managing, monitoring and optimizing the IT infrastructure. You prioritize incidents and solve them taking into account the impact some incidents may have on the business. Furthermore, you help your colleagues to solve their IT challenges.


What you can expect:

  • First contact for questions helpdesk;
  • Handles, monitor, analyze and escalate incidents;
  • Monitor, manage and optimize IT infrastructure;
  • Install, test, manage, monitor and optimize infrastructure automation systems;  
  • Publishing and configuring PC’s, laptops, IPads, cell phones;
  • Active Directory Management, SCCM, Outlook, etc.;
  • Managing and updating the system documentation;
  • Work on IT-projects.

Your profile:

  • MBO+ degree in a suitable qualification and a good work and thinking level supplemented with subject-specific courses;
  • General IT experience from a similar position is a plus;
  • Knowledge of hardware and software (demonstrable knowledge of recent Microsoft products);
  • Experience with incident and problem management or incident logging tool(s);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Dutch and English, any additional market-specific language e.g. French is desirable;
  • Service- and customer oriented;
  • Extensive communication skills, proactive and problem-solving;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • In possession of driving-license B;
  • Living nearby Amsterdam (within a radius of 30 km).
