Jr. IT Support Engineer | Fulltime (40h)

Are you an IT Support Engineer and are you ready for a new challenge? Do you like to have variety in your work and are you motivated to provide the best possible support? Then this could be the next step in your career. Together with the Team leader IT Benelux, you are responsible for managing, monitoring and optimizing the IT infrastructure. You prioritize incidents and solve them taking into account the impact some incidents may have on the business. Furthermore, you help your colleagues to solve their IT challenges.


What you can expect:

  • Being the first point of contact for questions helpdesk;

  • Installing, managing, monitoring and optimizing infrastructure systems or escalations;  

  • Taking care of configuring PC’s, laptops, Apple devices;

  • Active Directory Management, SCCM, Outlook, TEAMs, O365, MDM;

  • Responsible for system documentation administration;

  • Works and contributes to IT-projects;

  • Visiting and assisting stores in Benelux regarding IT-related matters.

Your profile:

  • MBO+ degree in a suitable qualification with subject-specific courses;

  • General IT experience from a similar position (in Retail is a plus) for at least 2-3 years;

  • Knowledge of hardware and software (demonstrable knowledge of recent Microsoft products);

  • Experience with incident and problem management or incident logging tool(s);

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Dutch and English, any additional market-specific language e.g. French is desirable;

  • Service- and customer oriented;

  • Extensive communication skills, proactive and problem-solving;

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;

  • In possession of driving-license B;

  • Living nearby Amsterdam.
