HR Manager

Driving the organisational and individual capabilities required to deliver the U.K. and Ireland business strategy. Developing and executing an HR strategy to support the business agenda. Partner with the HR Director and leadership team to develop people strategies to grow and drive the business.  Manage the HR team in the UK and work in conjunction with the HR team at the Head Quarters in Germany to ensure business success. Partnering with the business on the design and delivery of salary structure, sales incentive schemes, sales training and organisational design, development and performance management.  Manage direct HR costs across the business, ensuring cost targets are met and influence indirect HR costs.  Monitor and report on key business HR metrics, partner with the business through the provision of strategic and business-focussed HR consulting support. Responsible for overall centralized HR admin function.  Ensure a motivational climate in the organization, including adequate opportunities for career growth and development.

Delivering capability growth through a range of HR activities and programs including talent management, succession planning, organisational design, culture, diversity, employee relations, health, safety and well-being, transformation Working with Global HR Director to develop specific actions to ensure global / UK development program for our employees Build relationships and coach Retail Management on HR functional areas, as well as effective leadership.





  • Oversee and provide guidance where applicable on all employee relations investigations/disciplinaries/grievances
  • Change management will be an important aspect to drive business growth
  • Own entire talent management and bench marking in the Retail Services group.
  • Support Retail Area Managers and Store teams by offering guidance on HR related questions and concerns.
  • Responsible for mentoring, guiding and developing HR Team.
  • Develop, refine and fine-tune effective methods or tools for selection / or provide external consultants to ensure the right people with the desired level of competence are brought into the organisation or are promoted.





















Your profile:

  • Must be CIPD qualified
  • Must have up to date employment law knowledge
  • Must have at least 5 years HR experience within retail environment
  • Must have managed direct reports
