PR Intern - 12 month placement

To support various activities of the Communications department (PR, VIP, Art and Sports Sponsorship) by contributing towards the development and delivery of high quality administration and support to the team.

12 month paid internship, based in Camden. 

 

What you can expect:

  • Responding efficiently to inbound press queries
  • Maintain and distribute press clippings and monthly/weekly reports both internally and to worldwide offices
  • Check daily coverage for both brand placements and industry news – share relevant information with the team
  • Assisting with PR Coordinator with showroom appointments / VIP dressing requests and opportunities
  • Inputting and updating key databases (UK and Regional Press and VIP)
  • Support with press mailings (Look Books, Media Alerts, Press Releases, Weekly Mailers and VIP announcements) and monitor pick up
  • Assist on the delivery of high production events including fashion shows, press days, store openings, sample sale and press trips
  • To assist the PR Coordinator, PR Manager and Head of PR & Marketing on any required tasks

Your profile:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
  • Experience of working with online media, proactive interest in fashion, style, sport, art and interiors blogs
  • Familiar with the workings of all the major social media channels - specifically Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
  • A minimum of 6 months PR internship experience within an Agency or in-House, ideally with a Luxury industry focus
  • Experience with using Fashion GPS
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or Marketing (preferred)
