Assistant to Director Global Retail Operations (m/f/d)

What you can expect:

We drive strategic retail developments globally, act as interface between international retail markets and headquarter departments. We run innovative tools and improvements such as Omni Channel Services and Retail Innovations. As the Assistant to the Director, you will be at the heart of this dynamic team, helping the Director support his teams and thus to drive their success. Please submit your application in English.   • Diary management for the Director’s calendar - efficient scheduling and coordination with other departments
  • Travel and E-mail management for the Director
  • Organising and managing seminars, events and workshops
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations for the Director
  • Take calls, emails and post etc. and set up conference call arrangements as required
  • Ensure that any office and IT equipment needed by the department is budgeted for, bought, stored, disposed of correctly and available where needed
  • Interaction with business partners, guests and suppliers
  • General administration support such as filing, updating documents and other administrative tasks
  • Manage the day-to-day office operation to run smoothly

Your profile:

  • You will have experience in a similar role
  • You have excellent English and German, both written and spoken
  • You enjoy working as part of a larger and international team
  • High adaptation to different cultures, a changing environment and changing challenges
  • Strong networking skills (other Assistants, important interfaces, etc.)
  • Highly organized with high attention to detail, as well as positive and dynamic attitude
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Absolutely trustworthy with potentially sensitive information
  • You are structured, independent and persistent, you have the ability to show good judgment and integrity
  • Proactive attitude when dealing with new and unknown tasks - show ownership
  • Proactive, good efficiency and level of professionalism in deliverables
  • Commitment to organization objectives, capability to set priorities
  • You have experience in working with budgets, and budgeting processes
