Franchise and Expansion Manager (m/f/d)

The HUGO BOSS Global Real Estate Team is looking for a Franchise and Expansion Manager (m/f/d) to join us in our Headquarter in Metzingen. In this role you will help create the future of our physical retail and franchise business. You will be part of transforming our store network into a state of the art omnichannel portfolio serving the needs of both our customers and our group. Help us define the new role of physical touchpoints in today’s dynamic retail environment and drive the growth with our global franchise partners. Be ready to take responsibility and head retail related real estate projects in close cooperation with our internal and external partners.


What you can expect:

  • Build relationships with our global franchise partners and work jointly on new projects
  • Optimize current and future portfolio setup based on group strategy, global trends and local developments
  • Autonomous identification and acquisition of future store locations
  • Ongoing analysis of existing retail setup to identify potentials and shortfalls
  • Develop and execute well-balanced portfolio strategies in close cooperation with our global franchise partners
  • Participate in complex, cross-functional and dynamic project environments
  • Close cooperation with global real estate partners and major landlord entities
  • Close interaction with senior business leaders, internal / external stakeholders and peers 

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies with focus on international retail, business administration or international sales
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in franchise and retail real estate is required
  • Self starter attitude putting progress over perfection
  • Mixed skill set of real estate, retail, finance and operations experience is strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of architecture, construction, store execution and project management 
  • Ability to work both stand-alone and in teams with a strategic and inclusive mindset
  • Ability to digest and incorporate consumer-centric parameters and analytics
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills as well as profound facilitation skills
