Global Event Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Global Event Manager (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible.

 

What you can expect:

  • Responsibility for the conception and coordination of internal and external global events (e.g. collection handover, HUGO BOSS Run, HUGO BOSS Christmas party, fashion shows, national and international events, store openings, sport, art, trade fairs) across all interfaces; physical and digital
  • Overarching project management and responsibility for the implementation of approved concepts in an international environment, including the development of the service portfolio / contract and specification / functional specification as well as negotiation of the services of agencies / service providers together with strategic purchasing and legal
  • Budget management and project reporting: Compliance with the specified budget framework, budget control and independent management, project reporting and coordination of the interfaces with all sub-projects and escalations
  • Development of event types, event tools, global standards and guidelines for the preparation, planning, implementation and reporting of local events in the countries
  • Technical advice and strategic / operational support for global marketing managers and markets in the creation of briefings, conception, preparation and implementation of local events as well as responsibility for the successful implementation of globally relevant events in the markets
  • Establishment and expansion of a global network of service providers and maintenance of the supplier pool, definition of responsibilities and interfaces, project management and negotiation of conditions as well as monitoring of quality including optimization options
  • Deliver post-event reports with analysis driven by data including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future event improvements

Your profile:

  • 2-5 years of event planning management experience required; global experience a plus
  • Ability to create event experiences with meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational expertise, to deliver measurable marketing results
  • Experience with developing and managing events budgets, including vendor engagement
  • Good project management; ability to handle multiple projects at various levels of scale incl. hands-on experience
  • Ability to collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders and drive consensus
  • Interest in fashion
  • High quality awareness and the ability to make decisions and ask questions based on data
  • Demonstrated performance in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to travel; both domestic and international
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong in communication, confident in presentation, resilient and skilled in negotiations
