Senior Human Rights Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Human Rights Manager (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible. 


What you can expect:

  • You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the upcoming supply chain due diligence law.
  • During the set-up phase, you will initially control the project management and the implementation of the legal requirements in day-to-day business.
  • Once the transition to regular operations has been completed, you will monitor and manage the company's due diligence obligations.
  • You will analyse human rights due diligence along the supply chains and support the Human Rights Officer in his work.
  • You advise the departments on human rights issues and the legal due diligence requirements.
  • You support the reporting processes to fulfil the legal reporting obligations.

Your profile:

  • You have a successfully completed degree in the fields of social sciences, political sciences, sustainability management or a comparable education.
  • You have at least five years of professional experience, ideally in an internationally active company, an association or an NGO.
  • You have project management experience, also in being a project manager.
  • You enjoy working with a wide variety of interfaces within the company.
  • You deal with conflict situations confidently, are organised and results-oriented, and are characterised by a high degree of personal initiative.
  • You have basic legal knowledge as well as knowledge of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and similar standards and frameworks.
  • You already have experience in managing external stakeholders.
  • Your profile is completed by fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
