Team Leader Payables Management EMEA (m/f/d)

In order to continue to be prepared for the challenges of the digital world in the future, we in the Group Finance & Tax division are committed to adapting dynamically to new circumstances and being open to new ideas. Our job is to ensure the correct application of complex accounting and tax regulations and to prepare correct and complete financial statements, thus ensuring financial transparency within the Group. To this end, we develop uniform processes and guidelines for all accounting/tax/treasury issues and also advise our interface departments in Metzingen and our subsidiaries worldwide on the further development of operational processes.

As part of your work, you will be responsible for accounts payable accounting at HUGO BOSS AG and for setting up and operating a shared service centre for accounts payable accounting tasks in the EMEA region.
 

 

What you can expect:

  • You are responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the Payables Management EMEA team
  • You and your team will be responsible for the efficient and timely processing of an invoice volume of around 150,000 incoming invoices per year
  • You are already the main contact person for all questions and process issues relating to incoming invoices for the interface departments at HUGO BOSS AG
  • A main focus of your activities will be the planning and development of our Shared Service Center for the EMEA region until the end of 2022
  • You and your 15-person team will create the procedural requirements for processing the additional invoice volume at our Metzingen headquarter
  • You will ensure an increase in process efficiency and the degree of automation as well as excellent customer service
  • You manage the processes of the accounts payable department based on KPIs and ensure smooth and compliant operational processes
  • You will regularly and proactively inform yourself about changing regulatory requirements and the latest trends and technologies in the area of accounts payable

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your studies in business administration / economics
  • In addition, you have several years of relevant professional experience in the management and/or development of accounting-related shared service centres in an internationally operating group
  • You have a very good knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes and very good accounting and tax knowledge
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the implementation of technologies for the digitalisation of accounts payable processes
  • You convince through very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Your way of working is proactive, and you manage to win over your interfaces for a joint solution, even in difficult issues
  • You are able to communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and understandable way and also in German (B1 level)
  • You enjoy managing and continuously developing a team and you have already gained several years of experience in leadership
