Human Resources Coordinator
HUGO BOSS Fashions, Inc. | New York City | 2494 | Full-time

As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the HR Coordinator provides support to the Sr. Director of Human Resources - North America with all HR functions; such as, performance management, organizational capability and design, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access, quality service.


What you can expect:


  • Assist in managing projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance 
  • Ensure that all new hire paperwork & new hire orientation packets are completed in accordance with our onboarding policy 
  • Create, update and maintain accurate job descriptions 
  • Manage and track processing and completion of all unemployment claims 
  • Create, communicate and post all organizational change announcements 
  • Monitor, report and analyze termination trends within the organization 
  • Create and maintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements 
  • Prepare, monitor and maintain all HRIS entries and reports 
  • Provide administrative support to the recruiter with the recruitment process for corporate 
  • Maintain and update corporate organizational charts on a regular basis. 
  • Assists with day-to-day resolution of benefit/payroll related issues and inquiries (Address changes, Direct Deposit, W4 updates, Job Abandonment letters, employment verification etc.) 
  • Track the receipt of performance reviews and evaluations in accordance with the Talent Management Process. 
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from all relevant HR Mailboxes 
  • Update employee information in all applicable reporting/scheduling systems (DocuSign, etc.) 
  • Schedule exit interviews for applicable employees. 
  • Other duties, research, and special projects as assigned

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology preferred 
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Human Resources function 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times 
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills 
  • Strong follow-up skills 
  • Possess analytical aptitude 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively 
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees 
  • Knowledge of HR employment related laws/practices a plus 
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Suite
