Operational Systems Analyst

Position Summary:


In a fast and frequently changing retail environment, HUGO BOSS US is searching for an ambitious, curious operational systems analyst to support business growth and provide state of the art systems & applications support.   
In this position, the Operational Systems Analyst, will support existing applications, manage problems, analyze business needs, and create IT concepts to stabilize applications but also implement new process solutions. Besides the key elements, maintenance and global support working on global, regional or local projects with international teams, is another important part of this position. 


What you can expect:

  • Trouble shooting IT issues and support of business teams / users on a global scale
  • Training and support while implementing IT solutions
  • Analyze business processes in alignment with the respective business team (requirement gathering / business concept)
  • Transfer business requirements into technical concepts (modeling)
  • Participate in local and regional projects while working with local and international teams
  • Review and adjust test scripts as well as perform tests on functional, application or module level
  • Follow Project management standards regarding procedures, documentation & rules
  • Multi-task-management, initiate, adjust, control report on parallel running activities


Your profile:

  • 3 years business experience in a similar role preferred
  • Experience in SAP AFS  (experience in SAP Retail would be a plus)
  • Good understanding of order to cash processes and set up in SAP AFS SD module 
  • Application support experience in resolving day-to-day application issues and working with end-users
  • Basic knowledge about system communication like IDOC/ALE and monitoring tools 
  • Apply common sense understanding to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions  


Qualification & Abilities

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Fluency in German, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong sense of team 
  • Present information and communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Prioritize and manage workload and adjust to changing priorities  
  • Proven time management capabilities
