Retail Merchandising Internship

We are looking for proactive interns to join the Retail Merchandising team of the U.S. corporate office in New York on August 17th, 2020, for 6 months. As an Intern in our Retail Merchandising Department you will be able to gain an insight into all department tasks including but not limited to retail analysis, supply chain management and strategic merchandise assortment development and planning. The internship is unpaid. What you can expect:

  • Assists with daily office functions such as reporting, analysis, business recaps, photocopying, etc.
  • Has direct communication with Directly Operated Stores (DOS) and Factory Outlets (FO) regarding product needs, special orders and stock inquiries.
  • Prepares detailed weekly and seasonal selling reports for all categories.
  • Supports the Buyer with Market appointment preparation needs for each collection.
  • Assists with entering purchase orders in SAP.
  • Assists with the creation and development of Product Knowledge for all Brands.
  • Assists with store merchandising functions such as visual display, folding, re-stocking, etc.
  • Assists with basic replenishment for Directly Operated Stores (DOS) and Factory Outlets (FO).
  • Assists in store visits to gain an understanding of best sellers and underperforming items.
  • Assist in NYC store visits to gather feedback from the sale floor to improve sales performance, by making visual merchandising adjustments, providing product knowledge training, and consolidations.

Your profile:

  • Studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics or General Business Management
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Manages difficult tasks effectively

  • Highly proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel
