Visual Merchandising Internship

We are looking for proactive interns to join the Visual Merchandising team of the U.S. corporate office in New York on February 17th, 2020, for 6 months. As an Intern in our Visual Merchandising Department you will be able to gain an insight into the targeted styling of window displays of our HUGO BOSS Stores as well as monitor the major Department Stores in order to assure that the company’s visual standards are complied with. The Intern will learn how a VM department functions, place VM orders, organize shipments, schedule VDC installations, prepare Model Store directives and understand how visual merchandising plays an integral role in a retailer's overall success. What you can expect:

  • Set up and maintaining showroom for Market Season
  • Installing and styling window displays in the HUGO BOSS Stores
  • Assist team to install Press Day
  • Monitoring Department Stores (Saks, Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Bloomingdales) to assure the Companies visual standards
  • Monitoring and analyzing monthly reports as well as placing and supervising new orders
  • Organizing and coordinating events
  • Creating market analyses of the key competitors and their advertising outcome

Your profile:

  • Demonstrate an enthusiasm for styling and knowledge of current fashion trends
  • Excellent creative skills and attention to details
  • Interest in Fashion, Design, Art
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
