eCommerce Operations Associate

The eCommerce Operations Associate is an integral part of the eCommerce organization, focusing on fulfilment and logistics while also possessing crucial knowledge of customer service and site operations. Reporting, maintaining, and constantly improving the fulfilment operations functions are the key responsibilities of the role. 

 

What you can expect:

  • Service Provider Relationship: Manage and monitor all service provider relationships including service level agreement reporting, costs, and contractual obligations 
  • Payment Functionality: Enhance online store payment methods in conjunction with payment provider as well as monitor and optimize fraud protection activities 
  • Transactional Maintenance: Report on our 3rd party service provider’s order management processes from site to ship, ensuring all online transactions are posted timely and accurately to owned retail and reporting systems (i.e. sales audit maintenance, transactional performance monitoring & reporting)
  • Fulfillment Activities: Report on all 3rd party fulfillment activities including, but not limited to, inventory reconciliation, shipping deliverability and costs, refurbishment processes, packaging standards, ultimately serve as the main point of contact to fulfillment warehouse 
  • Customer Service Initiatives: Partner with ops team in customer service operations and initiatives, including standardization of procedures, appropriate issue routing, service center reporting, and customer representative training
  • Project Management & Site Development: Act as project lead on all site enhancements with service providers and introduce innovative onsite advancements to maintain a competitive edge in growing eCommerce channel
  • Testing: Play crucial role in front and back end testing for regular monthly releases and site enhancements, work with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Finance: Act as point person for all eCommerce vendor invoicing and billing issues and keep track of costs/budgets with various department leaders
  • Employee Discount Program: Oversee operational aspects and reporting for company ecommerce discount program
     

System Technology:

  • SAP AFS / BIS
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Multiple 3rd Party Reporting Systems
     

Your profile:

  • BS College Degree
  • 3 years of eCommerce Operations or similar Retail Operations experience 
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel & PC operations
  • Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with all ecommerce stakeholders in a fast paced environment
  • Possesses a deep understanding in the trends, needs, innovations, and pace of the eCommerce industry
