eCommerce Operations Internship

We are looking for proactive interns to join the eCommerce Operartions team of the U.S. corporate office in New York on February 17th, 2020, for 6 months. As an Intern in our eCommerce Operations Department you will be able to gain an insight into the measures for Hugo Boss’ successful expansion of its business. The intern will learn about and to support all eCommerce operational tasks including but not limited to online QA, tracking site metrics, pulling data for reporting, assisting with customer issues, providing brand benchmarking and assisting with eCommerce special projects. By the end of the internship, the intern will have gained experience in a variety of eCommerce systems, portals and reports.The internship is unpaid. What you can expect:

  • Onsite Content QA: assist with daily quality assurance maintenance with both product details and order flow as well as competitive site benchmarking.
  • Pulling site analytics data for daily/weekly tracking and reporting on key metrics.
  • Assisting with customer issues and marking customer complaint emails for escalation.
  • Organizing and logging customer defective goods and assisting with the placing and shipping of new replacement orders.
  • Special Projects: facilitate all business development projects for the department (i.e. analyzing site speed data and comparing to industry averages, bench marking Omni-channel offerings amongst competitors, researching checkout flows/payment options/special services amongst competitors, etc.). Provide competitive analysis and a detailed services for each service provider, making sure to adequately match the business requirements and outline all implications for change

Your profile:

  • Interest and knowledge of the online retail industry
  • Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently/take initiative
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to remain fully engaged in a busy office environment
  • Excellent team working skills with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships across multiple levels and global divisions
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience using pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, and additional formulas a plus.
