THE APPLICATION PROCESS AT HUGO BOSS

Have you found a suitable vacancy on our job portal? Great! Please send your application only online. We’ll get in contact with you after we’ve reviewed your application package. We usually conduct two interviews: a virtual MS Teams interview or in-person meeting to get to know you, and a second face-to-face interview.
If you’re applying for an apprenticeship or a spot in a work/study program, the first interview is usually held by phone. Then you’ll be invited to our Talent Day together with other applicants. If you win us over during your personal interview, you’ll soon become a part of HUGO BOSS.

Discover our streamlined application process in just four simple steps!

1. APPLICATION

To be considered for any of our current positions, please complete the online application form. You have the option to upload your CV to preload your application, making the process more streamlined for you. Cover letters are not mandatory, but if you choose to include a motivation letter, it is entirely up to you. Additionally, we recommend tailoring your experiences and skills to align with the specific job requirements. This personalized approach will effectively showcase your qualifications and demonstrate your fit for the role.

2. FIRST INTERVIEW

If your application captures our interest, we will invite you for a first interview. This interview will be conducted either via MS Teams or, in certain cases, via our video interviewing tool “One Way Interview”. This interview will provide an opportunity to discuss your skills, experiences, and motivation for the role in detail. We will also share further information about the job and the team. The first interview panel will consist of the hiring manager and recruiter. We encourage you to come prepared with a basic understanding of the role and any questions you may have for discussion.

3. SECOND INTERVIEW

The second interview typically takes place onsite and involves structured interview questions to ensure consistent evaluation of all candidates. In some cases, we may request that you complete a small project prior to the second interview, such as a case study, code samples, or design concept. These assignments help us gain insights into your problem-solving approach and thought process. Additionally, there may be an assessment to evaluate workstyle skills. While the process may vary for different roles or teams, the core principles remain consistent across all positions. Please note that not all these steps may be relevant to your specific role.

4. DECISION AND OFFER

Once the interviews have been completed, we will carefully review all the information gathered throughout the recruiting process. If there is a match, we will extend an offer to you over the phone and guide you through the details of compensation, benefits, and other relevant information. However, if the position is not offered to you, we will provide feedback, which may be communicated through email or a phone call. Our commitment is to ensure a transparent and supportive application process
